Our gardencubes are built using the world's most innovative and latest building products.

Base

We build our units on a reinforced concrete base, similar to that used when building houses.

Walls and roof

Structural insulated (sips) are used to form the walls and roof. Sip panels form the structure of the building, giving the building the strength it needs to withstand the harshest weather conditions, and incorporating the latest insulation technology. The insulation values are far higher than traditional insulation products, having the additional benefit of protection from noise pollution.

Internal Finish

he walls and ceiling can be boarded with plasterboard, offering a smooth, skimmed finish, ready for painting or decorating. Alternatively, we can offer a birch plywood panelled finish, as exhibited in or model at Grand Designs Live, London

We can offer a variety of floor coverings, including wood, laminate, carpet, or the latest in eco-friendly products – recycled rubber flooring – currently proving very popular with our customers.

Electrics

Each building incorporates a small consumer board, from this point we run a ring main of double sockets and a lighting circuit. We install spotlights inside and outside (depending on design) both operated by a two gang dimmer switch. A heater, or climate control system, is installed for your comfort and the building can also be alarmed for extra security.

External Finish

Our buildings are clad in Western Red Cedar. Cedar is durable, versatile and adaptable. Its rich, warm colour means it is one of nature's more attractive species of timber. Cedar has a high resistance to decay and can be relied upon for many, many years.

Our gardencubes are designed in a range of different dimensions. We can design and install any configuration, depending on the personal specification of the site.

We offer optional extras such as, kitchenettes, shower rooms, cloakrooms (with WC and hand basin) and roof lights. Prices for these are available upon request.
