Will I need planning permission?

For garden rooms, in many cases, planning permission is unlikely to be needed. For larger projects, planning permission is needed for most developments. Some schools may have permitted development rights, but in all cases approval is still required. The Bespace architect will deal with each case individually and ensure that the appropriate requests are made.

 

How long will it take to build?

As soon as the correct approvals have been received, standard modules can be completed in as little as 3 weeks, after an initial lead time of 4 weeks.

 

How green is my building?

We make all of our buildings using the latest building technology. The walls and roof are made from SIPs (structural insulated panels) which have insulation values in excess of standards set by building control. All timber is from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified suppliers. We even have a living roof option available to help reduce your carbon footprint.

 

What is included in the price?

Bespoke quotes offer a full turnkey solution including ground works, foundations, full construction and internal fit-out.

 

For how long is my modular building guaranteed?

Your modular building is guaranteed for 5 years, however some aspects of the building, such as the roof, have extended guarantees.

 

Do the modules come in standard sizes?

Our structures are bespoke and as such are generally built to exact requirements. We can, though, provide an off the shelf module thereby ensuring a speedy delivery and rapid build.

 

How much will it cost?

As all modules are built to suit your requirements, prices vary according to size and complexity. We do. However, we have a guide to give you a rough idea based on the size of your building.
